The creative world is represented by Peter Kain, who built upon his skill in plastering (both fibrous and solid) to teach at Torquay College and then study classical architecture at the prestigious New York Acaemy of Art. Peter then worked for 9 years with some of New York's most innovative designers and architects and was commissioned by renowned US artist Jim Richmond to create life castings of wild animals (deer, birds, squirrels) for the highly valued work 'Deer in the Woods'. Further extensive travelling to study the ancient wonders of Europe and Africa led to Peter being invited by the British Museum to become their mould maker of statuary.
The gift of artistic design is provided by Mark Godderidge, who built upon his study of Industrial Design to become visiting tutor of sculpting and model making at the world famous Royal College of Art. Peter has worked with many of the UKs leading design companies (e.g.Seymour Powell, Pentagram) providing iconic designs such as the 1980's London Taxi, scaled models for architectural projects, Jaguar and BMW vehicle bodywork and created sculptures for the film industry such as the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, 5th Element and Jim Henson's creative workshop, commonly known as the Muppets.
